Senior Quantity Surveyor

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work from my clients North West offices. They require an enthusiastic person to join their team, someone who can demonstrate a clear understanding of Mechanical and Electrical installation and show several years of relevant employment experience.

My client is looking for the candidate to be either degree qualified or have a relevant HND / HNC qualification and have a broad understanding of M&E.

To be able to demonstrate the ability to run projects with a combined M&E value in excess of £4Million.

You will be responsible for

• Interpretation and understanding of respective obligations, responsibilities and liabilities of the parties to the contract and provision or advice and guidance on them to the site team as and when appropriate.
• Overall control and involvement of target cost estimates and out turn cost forecasting.

• Attendance to site meetings and preparation of weekly / monthly reports predetermining deadlines.

• Cash management and forecasting

• Supervision of other Quantity Surveyors on the projects.

• Regular travel within the North West

• Awareness of and understanding of what documents comprise the contract.
