Electrical Project Engineer

My client is looking for a Building Services Electrical Engineer to join their busy Manchester office.

The job holder will work as part of a team on various projects and will ideally have had experience of multi million pound installations and worked on school, hospital, retail and mixed developments previously.

The job holder will have to demonstrate a number of duties including -

• Design verification through to value engineering processes
• Procurement of sub contract packages and major plant
• Attending design, planning procurement, client and progress meetings
• Producing and monitoring construction programs in conjunction with project planning
• Liaison and co ordination with other trade contractors
• Preparation of method statements and risk assessments
• Appraisal of sub contractor method statements and risk assessments
• Control of all sub contracts related electrical and mechanical activities.
• Resolution of day to day site design and co ordination problems
• Control of all commissioning procedures and documentation
• Management of design and installation activities
• Labour and financial forecasting
