Job description:
The primary function of the Design Manager is to control the Mechanical and Electrical design activities undertaken by the company and externally appointed Design Consultants.
You will be responsible for the full design team management and contractor management for a major £multi million pound project.
You will have a proven record of design management experience working for a main contractor and demonstrate the ability and skills to manage and lead off your own initiative.
As the Design Manager you will make up part of the engineering team and will have experience working on construction sites. You will have worked for an M&E Contractor and preferably experience with a principal/main contractor working on major projects.
