Job description:
My client is currently looking for a Regional Building Services M&E Manager. They have expressed that suitable candidates have an equal ability for both Mechanical and electrical disciplines, being able to discuss both disciplines with the design team and associated contractors and problem solve where necessary.
The job functions shall include but not be limited to -
o Dealing with the procurement
o Monitoring building systems and processes
o Chairing a range of project groups and technical meetings
o Liaising closely with structural engineers, builders, architects and srveyors, and in house project teams.
o M&E progress meetings
o Programme awareness and monitoring
o Technical design meetings
o Monthly reporting and close out meetings with sub contract project managers and all aspects of Health and Safety regulations.
The position has come about due to a retiring member of staff; the role shall encompass several sites, including education facilities, healthcare and food retail outlets.
